Storm the towers in this inverse tower defence game! It's a tower ATTACK game!

In this short puzzle game, you'll ready an army to brave the deadly traps and towers that stand before the King and his prize. Deploy wizards, rangers, knights and peasants as the King's royal guard. Use careful planning to guide the King safely to the castle at the end of each level.

A short game, produced in 48 hours for the 2023 GMTK Game Jam

HOW TO PLAY:

- Drag and drop units from the menu into the grey starting area. Your line-up must include the King. Be careful - the King only has so much money to spend!

- Press "send" to begin the march.

- Use the play and pause buttons to change the action. When paused, the pause button will change, allowing you to make just a single step.

- Have the King reach the castle to win! (vanguard optional)

- Hint: Use F4 to toggle fullscreen, R to restart the level, and Esc to quit

THE KING'S ARMY:

- The King: the proud leader, he must be protected at all costs

- Knights: sturdy warriors, they can take multiple hits and stop ballista shots

- Rangers: sharpshooters, they can shoot past allies to stun towers and flip switches

- Wizards: packing a penchant for sorcery, they bring down lightning to destroy any tower that attacks them

- Peasants: lowly commoners, expected to die for their King
